Several months ago I was introduced to a delicious new whiskey that had just hit the market called Skrewball. I was immediately intrigued when we learned that it was a peanut butter flavored because I LOVE anything peanut butter! We took a shot of it chilled and man…it was like I ate a spoonful of peanut butter and it was delicious!
Since that day I have been avidly introducing my friends and family to my new favorite liquor! I was excited to finally have a shot that wasn't Fireball. Don't get me wrong…I still love a good cinnamon whiskey, but honestly I prefer Jack Fire over Fireball, hands down. But don't worry…I'll never turn down a shot of Fireball either. :)
Cinnamon whiskey shots have flooded the market for so long, which is why I was excited for something new! So, now…it's Skrewball any chance I get!
While I love to do a Skrewball shot during virtual happy hours with my friends, I thought it might be fun to create a specialty cocktail. I mean what else do we have to do during this Quarantine? Enter…Easter candy…specifically Reeces Peanut Butter Eggs, which in my opinion are the best of the Reeces family products! Eating at least one of these a day for a week straight (don't judge) got me thinking. I could recreate this taste…but get a buzz from it!
So, I turned my love of peanut butter cups in to a delicious cocktail! The Peanut Butter Cup Cocktail! You can watch the video for full instructions or checkout the ingredients below! It's super easy and soooooo yummy!!
- 2 parts Skrewball Whiskey
- 2 parts Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
- Splash of half & half
- Garnish with Reeces Peanut Butter Cup
Pour over all ingredients over ice and stir!
